ADIT 2019 Abstract submission Terms & Conditions

We will accept and review only abstracts complying with terms and conditions, instructions and format as outlined below.

 

General terms

  • It is mandatory to submit the abstract using online submission system (www.adit-conf.org).

 

  • The submission system will close on September 15, 2019.

  • Submitting author must register for the conference in seven days following acceptance notification. Failing to do so will result in automatic rejection of the abstract.

 

  • Submitting authors of accepted abstracts are entitled to early bird registration level until October 7, 2019.

 

  • The reviewers reserve the right to reject any abstract which does not meet the conference criteria.

 

  • All submitting authors will be notified of the outcome of their submission by October 1, 2019.

 

  • By submitting the abstract the authors consent to their abstract being reviewed and published in conference material and web page, where appropriate.

 

  • ADIT organizer reserves the right to edit an abstract for the conference program to meet formatting, space requirements and readability.

 

  • If you want to withdraw an abstract, please contact the ADIT Organizer in writing via email to info@adit-conf.org. Withdrawals need to be communicated in writing by the author who originally submitted the abstract, and in doing so, the Conference Organizer assumes that all other authors/presenters have been informed of the withdrawal.

 

  • Submission of more than two abstract by the same author or submission of identical work by several authors is not allowed.

 

  • Abstracts describing data that have been previously published or submitted and signed by the different author are subject to automatic rejection.

 

  • We will accept the abstracts related to any topic of diabetes management.

 

  • Submitting author must disclose source of funding and his/hers potential COI. Abstracts without full disclosure (funding and COI) statement will not be accepted.

 

  • It is sole responsibility of submitting author to obtain consent from all the participating authors. All the participants/authors in the study must consent with submission of their work as ADIT abstract.

 

  • Submitting author must participate and contribute in the work which is base for the abstract in significant way.

 

  • The submitted abstracts must comply with current ethical standards and regulations in biomedical research. Failure to adhere to these standards will result in rejection of the abstract.

ADIT 2019 abstracts awards

ADIT abstract reviewers will select three best abstracts for the ADIT 2019 abstracts award.

The decision will be based on following factors:

  • A value of work and research from the perspective of science.

  • Uniqueness and novelty of the thesis.

  • Value of abstract to clinical practice in diabetes treatment.

 

Abstract presentation

Reviewers will select and decide about abstracts mode of presentation:

  • Publishing in ADIT 2019 Program Book

  • Poster presentation

  • Oral presentation during plenary sessions.

 

Content , structure of abstract and formatting

We will accept abstracts related to any topic of diabetes management.

The principal author name for the abstract should be that of the author behind the work submitted.

Name, last name, email and affiliation must be provided for all authors.

The abstract title must indicate its content accurately. The title should not exceed 250 characters.

Abstract body is limited to 500 words. This limit excludes the abstract title, authors' information, and disclosure.

For words that are abbreviated, use the whole term the first time, followed by the standard abbreviation in a parenthesis.

When referring to drugs, non-proprietary names must be used throughout.

Abstract must be submitted in plain text. Do not quote references and do not include figures, tables and other images in the abstracts.

Authors can submit figures, tables and other images as separate attachment file. However, the organizers do not guarantee publishing supplemental materials in ADIT 2019 Program Book.

The body of abstract must be structured in sections: Introduction-Methods-Results-Conclusion

Organizers will notify the submitting author of the acceptance or rejection of the abstract.

If accepted, the author of the abstract will receive detailed instructions about abstract mode of presentation after October 1, 2019.

The authors selected for poster presentation may be required to submit the poster for display in an electronic and/or traditional poster format.

Full registration package, including two nights accommodation to ADIT 2020 and 300 euros for travel compensation.
