Prof. Oguzhan Deyneli
Prof. Oðuzhan Deyneli, MD, is Professor of Medicine at the Department of Internal Medicine, Koç University, School of Medicine, Istanbul, Turkey. He is a specialist in internal medicine and endocrinology. He graduated from Marmara University School of Medicine in 1993. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine in 1998 and fellowship in Endocrinology and Disorders of Metabolism in 2001 in Marmara University School of Medicine. He worked as a member of academic team in Marmara University Medical School between 2001-2017. He started working in Koç University Hospital Since 2017. His main research interests are cardiovascular risk indicators, microvascular complications in type 1 diabetes mellitus, glucose sensors, insulin pump and sensor augmented insulin pump therapy, evaluation of insulin sensitivity in different conditions, hepatic fibrosis and steatosis in type 2 diabetes mellitus. He is a member of The Society of Endocrinology and Metabolism of Turkey, Turkish Diabetes Foundation, Turkish Diabetes Association, Endocrine Society, European Society of Endocrinology, AACE. He has more than 50 publications in SCI and SCI expanded international journals. He has given several invited lectures in international congress/symposium and courses and has delivered numerous invited lectures in national congresses and courses. He was a member of organizing committee of several international and national meetings and courses. He also joined numerous educational activities for patients and summer camps for children with type 1 diabetes.
